One Chicken Promise

A Big Al's goujon is only ever made from one piece of chicken breast, from just one chicken. A tasty morsel of a fact we turned into the One Chicken Promise.

We're delighted to have worked with Kepak Foods on their first TV campaign for many years for their Big Al's brand. Our creative idea centres around the Big Al's 'One Chicken Promise', highlighting the tasty difference between Big Al's and the rest of the brood.



Most of Big Al's competitors' products are made from chopped and reformed meat from several chickens, while a Big Al's goujon is made only from one piece of chicken breast. We brought this brand and product truth to life using a light-hearted and humorous animation, and amplified this across the brand's social media channels. Additionally, radio promotions, competitions and on street activations were promoted on our facebook page using our cheeky hashtag #whatthecluck

On winning this account, Big Al's Brand Manager Marshal Kingston said 'McCannBlue stood out from the flock with a concept that was bold, creative and insightful. We had a complicated message to communicate to our consumers and McCannBlue transformed our message into a core simple idea that would resonate with audiences. Throughout the process we were impressed with their passion and professionalism and experience and we're delighted with the outcome.'
